Rare Lenox plate featuring 7 time WGC Duke Of Daylight . The inscription on the back reads: Duke of Daylight was purchased by the palmer's June 30th 1966. Mrs Palmer drove him in Amateur, Ladies and Open Championship Fine Harness Classes at thr largest and finest horse shows in the united states. The "Duke" responded by winning 88 blue ribbons and 6 consecutive ladies stake World's Championships-a feat that is unequaled in the Fine Harness division. Duke was retired from Fine Harness classes at The Kentucky State Fair in August, 1973.
Plate is in Excellent condition direct from the Palmers Estate.
